Day 01: Arrival in Colombo / Overnight in Colombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Colombo (approximately 20 minutes). Spend the afternoon relaxing, exploring colonial architecture, or strolling along the coastal promenade. Enjoy a relaxed dinner and a gentle introduction to Sri Lanka.

Day 02: Colombo to Kandy / Temple of the Tooth & Cultural Performance / Overnight in Kandy

Travel to Kandy (approximately 3.5 hours), the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and witness vibrant rituals performed by monks. In the evening, attend a traditional dance performance featuring Kandyan and low-country styles. Optional leisure time is provided to rest after the drive.

Day 03: Kandy to Mahiyanganaya / Village Experiences / Overnight in Mahiyanganaya

Journey into the hill country to Mahiyanganaya (approximately 5 hours). Stop en route for hands-on clay-making and ‘pan’ weaving experiences in a local village. Enjoy a traditional rice and curry lunch before taking a gentle trek to two hidden waterfalls, Rathna Ella and Kaluwa Wetuna Ella. Evening at leisure to recover from the day’s travel.

Day 04: Mahiyanganaya / Dambana Vedda Village Exploration / Overnight in Mahiyanganaya

Spend the day immersed in the life of the Dambana Vedda Village. Take a guided bush walk, learn hunting and foraging techniques, visit ancestral caves, and hear stories of the Vedda people. Day 05: Mahiyanganaya to Gal Oya / Safari & Nature Picnic / Overnight near Gal Oya

Day 06: Gal Oya / Vedda Village Cultural Immersion / Overnight near Gal Oya

Day 08: Ella to Weligama / Little Adam’s Peak & Nine Arches Bridge / Overnight in Weligama

Hike to Little Adam’s Peak in the morning for panoramic views of tea plantations and valleys. Visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge before continuing to Weligama, a peaceful coastal town. Afternoon and evening at leisure to relax and reflect on the journey.
